Our philosophy is simple, we maintain smaller groups that allow us to nurture your child so that they can play, learn and grow. Our programs are aligned to the National Quality Framework for early years and school aged education and care. Our focus is on providing quality education and care services in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. We love nature and the curiosity it stimulates in children and we promote healthy, back to basics fun for all children.

Angela Davey - Founder and Manager
Hi there, my name is Angela and I’m the founder of Playful Learners. I’m a working mum of three who is trying my best to offer you better child care. I am all about relationships with you and your child. I strive to know every child by name and to be there in support of you and your family. I love seeing your child learn, grow and have fun in our little centre and I look forward to welcoming your family to the Playful Learners family.
Anita Kay - Educational Lead
Hello, I’m Anita, the ECT and Educational Leader at Playful Learners. I am a Mum of 2 girls aged 5 and 7 years. I love that each child is unique and has their own little quirks and personalities. The program that I deliver provides a gentle, fun and developmentally appropriate introduction to their upcoming formal schooling and is play-based, interest based and semi-structured. I love helping children become active participants in their learning and inviting families to be apart of their children’s learning.

Kerry Lavender - Teaching Assistant
Hi I’m Kerry, I’m a mum of two boys aged 8 and 4 and the Teaching Assistant for the Pre Kindy program at Playful Learners. I have worked in child care for 12 years both in Australia and the United Kingdom. I love to watch young children learn, grow and discover their passions and I enjoy teaching them new skills through fun and exciting activities. I love getting to know each child and what makes them special.
